Results of the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch competitions
Full list of Members

Every member's home receives a free copy of the Yearbook and is usually distributed in late April along with the Spring Newsletter. Members attending the ESA Championship Show can collect these booklets at this event. However members not attending this event will receive the booklets by post in the following weeks.
All members are invited to advertise their dogs, along with any special achievements they may have made, at only £60 per full colour page. For an additional £10.00 this advertisement can also be included in a special section of the ESA website. Click to see payment information
The production of the ESA Year Book is now in its 62 year. In the introduction to the 1957 copy Captain S.S. Kendall wrote 'The production and publication of this Year Book has only been possible because of the generous co-operation of our advertisers, but it is the earnest wish of all that it should bring unlimited pleasure to every reader. There may be omissions and errors in the production of this book but if its reading brings you only part of the enjoyment given to those responsible for its production - then our work has been worthwhile'. 62 years later those wishes and comments are just as relevant today.
I have over the years been able to research and acquire knowledge regarding Kennels, Pedigrees, CC winners and lots of other useful information from the collection of Year Books I own. Gradual improvements to the format have been made over time including page setup, binding, colour and quality of the cover and in 2000 there was the introduction of an option for coloured page adverts in the Year Book to celebrate the Millennium. This proved popular and in 2006 these coloured pages became permanently available to all at a reasonable cost. The Year Book has gone from basic beginnings in 1957 to the current time to where a very professionally edited reference publication has been printed and produced containing valuable information, photographs together with a permanent historical narrative of the breed.
As mentioned above the production of the Year Book is only made possible by members and enthusiasts whose generous support makes this possible. Our President Valerie Foss has donated her full collection to the Kennel Club and now every year the KC receives the latest copy, the entire publication is now available to anyone who wishes to research the breed. Today's innovations make it possible to display online website content with information and pictures about Breeders and Kennels but these only remain available to view whilst payments are made to the hosting companies. It is not just about the winning dogs but the Year Book can mention English Setters who are special to their owners and part of their family. By supporting the ESA's Year Book it will guarantee that all advertised information about your Kennel or family pet will augment the previous 61 years of records of our beautiful breed in years to come.

To support the artwork appearing in the Yearbook, please read the following guidelines:-
- The printers accept clear photographs along with written text, “print ready” in PDF format, or photographic jpegs along with text.
- Any specific instructions will be followed, otherwise the printers produce the pages using their expertise.
- To ensure artwork prints clearly, it should be supplied at a resolution of at least 300dpi. Anything less than this will result in blurry reproduction.
- Printers use Apple Mac reproduction rather than PC. Background colours can be suggested as a guide which the printers will match as near as possible.
- A specific font does not always translate from PC to Mac so again the printers may have to use an alternative, but similar style.
- If the advertisement is being professionally produced, the bleed requirements are 3mm all round
